Fellowes 32197 Powershred SB-97Cs Shredder is a heavier duty shredder with many bells and whistles. Like all of the more current shredders, it has a remarkably effective safety mechanism which automatically shuts down when a jam occurs. Not only that but saftey features also include a SafeSensor technology which shuts down as well when the paper entry is even touched. Attracive and not tiny, this unit can goccle up sonme serious items, including credit cards, CD's (in a separate entry made for them), paper clips and any number of items which can foul a less sturdy unit. It can shred up to 17 pages per pass as well, making it the next thing to an "Industrial Class" shredder of efficient and ultimately extremely safe usage. It's size is 30" x 22" x 14.5 " and its shipping weight is 48 pounds. It has a 10 gallon waste basket for collection which holds a fairly enoprmous amount of shreddings and is imminently easy to pull out and empty. This is a fabulous unit for office use, making short and clean work of shredding chores.
