Fellowes 32057 Powershred P-57Cs Shredder is designed for light duty shredding at home or in the office, taking in as many as 8 standard sized sheets of paper at a time and reducing them to 5/32" x 2 inch confetti particles. The durable steel blades on the shredders can handle credit cards and staples. It  ha an aperture of 9 inches wide and has a very effective new patent-pending called SafseSense, a technology that features an active sensor that senses when the unit's paper entry is touched, which stops the operation automatically.

It has a 5 gallon container on top of which the "business end" rests and it is also open at the front for easy monitoring when the unit is full. Being open at the front also allows it to act as a wastebasket.
